Prosecco Spumante Brut Botter DOC NV, Veneto, Italy.

The UK is the biggest export market for Prosecco and the popularity of these wonderful sparkling wines rightly continues to increase.  This delicious Prosecco, which is perfect for the Charlbury Beer Festival, has a pale light yellow colour, delicately fruity, with lovely creamy and citrus character.


White wines.  

Sauvignon Blanc Maori Bay 2013, Marlborough, New Zealand.

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is on trend and no wonder! Maori Bay has the classic aromas of Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc with gooseberry, green peppers and asparagus and is dry, quality easy drinking. Enjoy!

Monte di Cello Pinot Grigio 2014, Veneto, Italy 

This is a classic easy drinking Pinot Grigio, with floral aromas and peach and apricot flavours. Ideal for a sunny Charlbury Beer Festival.


Rosé wine.

Château d' Anglès Classique Rosé 2015, La Clape, France.

Eric Fabre is the hugely talented and widely acclaimed winemaker for Château d’Anglès, near Narbonne, on The Mediterranean, who makes this high class and intricate pink from Mourvèdre, Grenache and Syrah. This dry rosé is a real winner, with fresh peachy, tangy fruit flavours, minerality and crisp acidity. Top class.


Red wines.

Gauchezco Malbec Classico 2013, Mendoza, Argentina.

Gauchezco are producing high class wines and their Malbec Classico has an intense and lively deep red purple colour.  On the nose there is fruity notes of plum, raspberry, dry fig and raisins along with floral notes of violets.  A complex and harmonious wine, more medium-bodied in style, with a soft and velvety finish. Enjoy as Malbec is the red grape variety of the moment!

French Flair Bordeaux 2014, Bordeaux, France

Bordeaux is the most famous wine region in the world for producing top quality reds and this medium-bodied wine has a lovely balance of dark fruit flavours.
